Our Story: How It All Started in Ireland

Becraftify was born out of a real-world challenge. In 2023, James O’Donnell, a web designer from Cork, Ireland, teamed up with his best friend, Mark Byrne, a digital marketing specialist, to help James’s father, Michael O’Donnell, take his small carpentry business online.

Michael had spent years building a strong reputation through word-of-mouth, but with more competition moving online, he realized he needed a website and digital marketing to keep growing. The problem? He didn’t have the technical skills or the budget to hire a full-time agency.

James and Mark worked together to build a website that was simple, effective, and affordable—and it worked! Within months, Michael’s business was attracting new customers online, proving that small businesses can thrive with the right digital tools. But they also saw a bigger issue: so many talented business owners, freelancers, and service providers struggled to afford or navigate the world of websites and marketing.

That’s when Becraftify was born—a solution built for people like Michael: entrepreneurs who need a hassle-free way to get online, learn, and grow without a massive budget or technical experience.
